- Feel like hands are full; something out of nothing; unprecedented in industry; very difficult to find data; very difficult to find information about it, quanitative or qualitative; adding new forecasts while expanding existing ones
- I don't feel overwhelmed
- I feel like my personal goal *is* my professional goal, right? The professional goals I outlined are already "stretch" goals in many ways, and this obviously is a learning process for me as well. First time with programmatic. This is still a relatively new-ish role, comparably speaking (less than 2 years vs. 11.5)
- It's not like CE or Research, where I had longer-term work that could be put on backburner; nearly everything I do is tied to some deadline; we don't have to reach, but we want to try
- Deliberate decision to set aside actual work, and potentially compromise deadlines, in order to achieve this personal goal that's more performative than it is functional or helpful
- Sharing this in case there's a managerial meeting where structure for goals in 2025 are discussed; maybe it can be an optional thing, for employees who want it
