I'm no 18c scholar, but by profession I'm a French translator, so I translated it. (Several spelling errors in the original, by the way.) But the article is listed under one man, to switch almost immediately to talk mostly about his son; and no source is given: despite the errors/typos in the original transcription, it may be copyrighted material; if so, the fact of having it translated doesn't make it any the less a copyvio. -- Bill 12:24, 5 Oct 2004 (UTC)
